Details of this will be given nearer the time to those that book their places. \nCamp HOPE 2026 – Frequently Asked Questions\nGeneral Information\nWhat is Camp HOPE? \nCamp HOPE is a family activity camp where you can enjoy a full week of camping\, community\, and connection. The price includes camping and a wide range of activities for children\, plus family events and shared experiences. \nPlease note: Camp HOPE is a cash-only site. Cash will be required for food and refreshments at the Hub. There is a local post office within walking distance from the site where you can draw out cash. \nWhen can we arrive and set up camp? \nWe are offering optional early stays for £15 per night: \n•Sunday night stay: Set up from 3:00 pm on Sunday 26th July 2026. An evening meal will be available. \n•Friday night stay: You can book the Friday night for £15 as long as you leave by Saturday midday. Breakfast will be available on Saturday morning. \nFor the main Camp HOPE week: \n•You can start setting up your camp from 10:00 am on Monday 27th July 2026. \n•All camping equipment should be packed away by 5:00 pm on Friday 31st July 2026. \nWho is Camp HOPE for? \nCamp HOPE is designed for families with children of all ages. There are activities for children aged 2–17\, and plenty of opportunities for adults to relax and enjoy the community. \nWould I be entitled to a refund? \nTickets for Camp HOPE are non-refundable. \nActivities\nAre activities included in the price? \nYes. All children’s activities are included\, as well as camping for the week. \nWhat kind of activities will there be? \nActivities include: \n• Campfire and songs \n• Slip and Slide \n• Olympic-style games \n• Games room (table tennis\, chess\, Lego and more) \n• Kids disco \n• Karaoke evening \n• Family quiz \n• And a full timetable of additional activities \nIs there anything new for 2026? \nYes. We will have all new kids activity sessions and we will also be hosting a Community Fundraiser during the week which will include a live band. We have 3 hot water showers available. \nAre the showers indoors or outdoors? \nTwo showers are outdoors in purpose-built wooden cubicles\, and one shower is indoors. \nAre the showers hot? \nYes\, all showers provide hot water. \nAre there toilets on site? \nYes. We have 6 flushable toilets available. \nAre there additional toilets if needed? \nYes. We also have up to 5 additional portaloos which may be used during busy periods. \nIs there somewhere to wash dishes? \nYes. We have a dedicated camper kitchen area for washing up plates and utensils. \nIs there a washing machine available? \nYes\, but this is for emergencies only and not for everyday laundry. \nIs there parking on site? \nYes. Parking is included in your ticket price\, and  you’re welcome to park next to your tent. \nFood & Cooking\nCan we cook our own food? \nYes. You are very welcome to cook your own food on the campsite. \nWill food be available to buy? \nYes. As a community\, we will be offering shared breakfasts\, lunches\, and dinners at an affordable cost. We always have a good number of teens and sessions that are designed around their interests. \nIs there electric hook-up? \nNo. There is no electric hook-up for tents. \nWhat should we do with rubbish? \nTake your waste home if possible\, or use the bins provided on site if necessary. Love this place – leave no trace. \nWhat to Bring\nDo I need to bring my own camping gear? \nYes. Please bring your own tent\, sleeping bags\, and camping equipment. Make sure everything is suitable for a week-long stay. \nShould we bring lights or torches? \nYes. While there will be some lights on site\, it’s always good to have your own torch for walking around the campsite at night. \nWhat clothing should we bring? \nPack for all weather! Bring warm clothes for evenings\, waterproofs in case of rain\, and comfortable clothes for activities. Don’t forget swimwear for water-based fun. \nDo we need towels and toiletries? \nYes. Bring your own towels\, toiletries\, and any personal items you may need. Hot water showers are available on site. \nShould we bring food and drinks? \nYou are welcome to bring your own food and cook on the campsite. Empowering women in the industry\, Ayito’s mission goes beyond music\, driven by a deep love for cultural authenticity. \nKaya Ori\nKaya Ori is the fusion of Jessica Lewis\, Masta Shen\, and Aylon. Born in Singapore to Indian and Malay heritage\, she began traveling at 19 and eventually settled in Melbourne\, where she became a prominent voice in community arts and cultural activism. \nHer latest album\, Prayer For My Daughters (2025)\, is a powerful tribute to womanhood\, healing\, and ancestral strength. The album features collaborations with artists like Dub FX\, Alais Clay\, and Paolo Baldini DubFiles\, and includes standout tracks such as “Mama’s Daughter\,” “Liberation\,” and “Universal Mind.” \nApsara’s music is deeply rooted in themes of self-empowerment\, social justice\, and spiritual resilience. She has received the Victorian Government Multicultural Award for Excellence for her work in community-building through the arts and was awarded a UNESCO grant to study poetry in New York. \nIn addition to her musical endeavors\, Sahida co-founded “Sisters for Sisters\,” a Melbourne-based collective that uses art and creativity to support social change.
