Matt Le Tissier is a football legend who had the type of successful career anyone with his jaw dropping talent should have. BUT, all that changed 5 years ago when his critical thinking and courage to speak out got him cancelled. Hear his journey and exactly what it has been like for him to be one of the only sportsmen to keep their integrity and speak out about the truth!
Bob Moran is an award winning cartoonist and illustrator. He has drawn for many publications, most notably as lead political cartoonist for The Telegraph, where he worked for ten years. Today, bob is best known for the cartoons he produced during the ”pandemic”.
Unlike most of his peers, Bob used his public platform to expose the moral flaws and contradictions in the government measures subsequently implemented. Some people hated this; others loved it. His stand attracted an international audience, and his original artworks are now highly sought after.
Bob is delighted to present and sign his new book, meet and greet, and deliver an exclusive Cartoon Workshop for Hope Sussex.
Jake’s work dried up at the start of the madness in 2020 and that gave him the push to become a professional artist after years of on/off painting.
Within a year he’d been accepted into the Royal Society of Painters in Watercolour annual exhibition where he sold his first portrait.
Since then he’s moved to oil paint and worked steadily, producing commissions and personal work, one of which was accepted into the Royal Society of Portrait Artists exhibition 2024.
In summer 2024 Jake interviewed and painted Mad Mick as the first sitter in a series that was then called ‘Paint Talks’. This evolved into ‘A Thousand Words’ when Resistance GB became partners in the show.
Since then Jake has interviewed and painted David Icke, Kate Shemirani, Matt Le Tissier, Jacqui Deevoy, Bob Moran, Robin Monotti, Richard Vobes and Piers Corbyn.
This event is more than just an evening of talks, it’s a celebration of courage, creativity and truth. Whether you’re here for the inspiring stories, the powerful artwork or simply to connect with like minded souls, you won’t want to miss this gathering at HOPE. Secure your tickets now and be part of a day filled with insight, art and meaningful conversation.
