To be held at HOPE Sussex Community on Sunday 1st September.
The HOPE Youth Theatre Group, amongst all the festival madness, are getting ready for their 3rd production! And this year they are tackling Shakespeare!
There are 18 students in this years production, ranging from 8 to 16 years of age and they have worked incredibly hard on what will be a version of a Midsummer Night’s Dream you have never seen before!
This adaptation of A Midsummer Night’s Dream takes place on a Tuesday afternoon in the year 2024. The school drama club has rehearsals, but with less than a week left ‘Miss M’ the drama teacher and director can’t make it in and Emily the student director is left with the challenging task of taking them by herself! The students playing Titania and Oberon are not speaking, Geoff hates Shakespeare and the actor playing Bottom wants to play all the roles. Will they make it to opening night or will it be an absolute disaster?
Tickets Adults £5. Children 12yrs and under £2.50. Doors open 4pm. Show starts 4.30pm.
