Gathering of the Mavericks a 4 day Conference from 15th to 18th May 2026 held at HOPE Sussex. Sovereignty and the Creation of an Alternative Society

The Gathering of the Mavericks is a community of people who have chosen to create their own reality away from control and the digital reality that is being imposed on the matrix population. We gather both online as well as in the flesh during the annual May gatherings. We help each other with advice, micro economics, health, education and courses, food growing, legal support and so forth. We endeavour to not comply with misaligning impositions from governments.

No planned activities, just enjoying the gathering with fellow Mavericks.

PLEASE NOTE: Event site closes at 5pm and everyone needs to be off site by 5pm.

Throughout the weekend there will be games for children, live music, stalls, fresh food cafe, and a Wellness and Healing area.

Kids Activities at Gathering of the Mavericks

Bringing the family along? You’re in the right place.

Across the weekend at Gathering of the Mavericks, hosted at HOPE Sussex, children of all ages—from little ones through to teens—will be immersed in a rich variety of fun, creative, and empowering activities designed to spark curiosity, connection, and confidence.

From hands-on arts and crafts, storytelling, and interactive learning sessions, to sports games, foraging adventures, and engaging Weird Science experiments, there’s something for every young explorer.

Children and teens will also have the opportunity to share their voices in education round tables, connect more deeply with nature, and take part in high-energy activities such as gel blasting and tug of war.

As the day draws to a close, the experience continues with memorable evening fire performances.

This is a nurturing space where young people can learn, play, express themselves, and thrive—while being part of a like-minded, heart-led community.
