Drama KS2

In this drama lesson we will be looking at structured pieces of theatre and thinking about our audience. There will still be fun games, exercises and the chance for the children to create their own pieces of drama through improvisation, but I will be introducing short scenes, duologues and monologues to this class. Drama is all about building confidence, teamwork and ultimately having FUN! The benefits of taking part in a drama lesson are social, emotional and physical. It also enhances critical and creative thinking skills. Not forgetting it's a fantastic emotional outlet, something that is extremely important for our children to have as the stresses of living in this modern world can become overwhelming, even for us adults.
