Creative & Critical Thinking

Developing Critical and Creative Thinking provides us with the resources to correctly assess the information we receive and successfully present an argument or counterargument. It is also a sort of antidote to the prejudices and cognitive biases that can prevent us from developing our full mental and social potential as human beings. In this lesson, young people will be encouraged to think for themselves, assess what is truth, ambiguous, biased, or downright lies in a variety of media. They will also be encouraged to learn good grammar, logical reasoning and the art of rhetoric or argument, so that they can make their way in the world with confidence and independent thought.
