Danny Rampling is a pioneering British DJ and producer, widely credited as one of the founding figures of the UK’s rave and club scene. In 1987, inspired by the Balearic sounds of Ibiza, he launched the legendary London club night Shoom, which played a pivotal role in introducing acid house to the UK. Rampling’s influence extended through his radio shows on Kiss FM and BBC Radio 1, notably the “Love Groove Dance Party,” which helped popularize dance music across the nation. Over the years, he has sold over a million compilation albums and held residencies at iconic clubs like Pacha and Amnesia in Ibiza.

Beyond his DJ career, Rampling is an author, having penned the best-selling book “Everything You Need To Know About DJing & Success.” He has also been involved in music consultancy, producing soundtracks for various media. In recent years, he has continued to perform at events worldwide and has been featured in documentaries exploring the history of dance music.

DJ Slipmatt (Matthew Nelson), known as the “Godfather of Rave,” is a pioneering UK DJ and producer who helped define the sound of the British rave and hardcore scenes. He first broke through in the early ’90s as one half of SL2, whose chart-topping anthem “On a Ragga Tip” became a defining track of the era. Alongside his DJ partner Lime, Slipmatt brought breakbeat hardcore into the mainstream, earning widespread acclaim and solidifying his place in dance music history. With roots in pirate radio, Slipmatt’s career has always been rooted in underground culture, and his energetic live sets and genre-spanning productions have kept him at the forefront of the scene for more than 30 years.

Beyond the decks, Slipmatt launched the influential SMD (Slip Matt’s Dubs) vinyl series and founded Universal Records, helping shape the evolution of hardcore and happy hardcore throughout the ‘90s. He’s played legendary events including Fantazia, Dreamscape, Helter Skelter, and Glastonbury, and continues to tour internationally. In recent years, he’s hosted popular podcasts like “World of Rave” and “Slip’s House,” and runs his own nostalgic rave experience “Slip Back In Time” in Ibiza. His legacy is not just as a performer, but as a lifelong ambassador for the culture, energy, and spirit of rave music.

Mark Devlin is a UK-based club and radio DJ, music journalist and author.

In 2010, he underwent what he refers to as a conscious awakening, bringing a new awareness of what’s really going on in this world. His special area of interest was how this ties into the mainstream music industry, and the way in which A-list artists have been used to manipulate and mind-control the masses in line with a much larger agenda.

He now presents public talks on these subjects, as well as appearing on radio, and producing two regular podcast series.

In 2016 he published his comprehensive book, ‘Musical Truth.’ Its follow-up, Volume 2, appeared in early 2018, with Volume 3 in late 2021 and the fourth, ‘No-One’s Dad’s A Plumber,’ in 2025. His allegorical novel, ‘The Cause & The Cure’ appeared in 2019, with its sequel, ‘The Gift & The Curse’ in late 2023.

Adi J is a seasoned DJ and producer based in Oxford, UK, with a career spanning over two decades. Beginning in 1999 with trance music, he transitioned to hard house in 2000 at Sundissential, marking his entry into the UK dance scene. His musical journey includes summers in Ibiza and performances at venues like Retro, Kanya Ibiza, and Café Liliput in India. After a hiatus, he returned to performing in 2022, sharing stages with artists such as Baby D, Danny Rampling, and Slipmatt at events like Reminiscence and the Freedom Festival. In 2024, he debuted at Sounds Beautiful and returned to Hope Freedom Festival. 2025 began with a New Year's Day set at Insomniacz, hinting at an exciting year ahead.

This year, Adi J has played at the Stand in the Light Freedom Festival in Cumbria and is set to perform at the HOPE Freedom Music Festival in August. He is also exploring a funkier sound in 2025, promising fresh and dynamic performances.

DJ Ayito is a London-based DJ and producer celebrated for her deep-rooted passion for reggae, dub, and steppas. Her musical journey began as a soundwoman with the esteemed Unit 137 Sound System, where she honed her skills and developed a profound appreciation for bass-heavy, conscious music. Ayito’s sets are characterized by their rich cultural authenticity and spiritual depth, reflecting her dedication to the essence of reggae music. She is also the founder of Bwiti Roots, a platform that showcases her commitment to the roots reggae scene.

Throughout her career, Ayito has collaborated with renowned sound systems such as Reggae Roast, Mungo’s Hi Fi, and Lion Pulse. Her performances have graced stages at notable events, including the Little DUB Festival, where her sets are celebrated for their ability to connect deeply with audiences.  Beyond the DJ booth, Ayito has contributed to the music industry through various mixes and sessions, including the “Ayito Reggae to Dub Session” hosted by Deemas J.

Monday performance.

I’ve been raving since the late 80’s and never stopped. I was there when the Tonka crew mixed two house tunes together and people clapped because the beats matched. I started DJing and VJing myself in the early 90’s, playing alongside Orbital, Higher Intelligence Agency and the Spawnee Posse at Heaven, Oscillate and long weekends in manor houses. Producing as Protean Vision Quest and Gnomadic, I released on Sony, MTV and Ninja Tune, remixing Coldcut.

Playing what is left of the true underground, DJ Cheetah mixes the sounds of jungle and house carrying hope and power to the dancefloor. Recent nights have seen me playing alongside Ed Solo, Freestylers, Deemas J, Slipmatt, Baby D and Danny Rampling. Heavily involved in the current civil rights movement, I have DJ’d outside Downing Street, at a roadblock in Westminster, at free parties in Hyde Park and Brighton seafront, Truth Tribe nights, and Nobody’s Meadow and Hope Freedom festivals.

DJ I Am I Am is a versatile DJ whose sets traverse a spectrum from Melodic Tech House to Drum & Bass. He is driven by the belief that music has the power to uplift and heal, serving as a remedy for life’s challenges. Expressing deep gratitude to music producers, he acknowledges their role in enabling DJs like himself to craft mixes that raise the vibration during these testing times.

Through his initiative, Freedom From Trauma, he offers “music for your soul,” aiming to raise vibrations and bring solace to those in need. His mission is to ensure that every beat resonates with the listener’s soul, making them feel truly great.

Saturday and Sunday performance.

Introduced to selecting and mixing music through his dad's vinyl collection, and travelling out on the road to support his dads sound system sessions and DJ sets from an early age, Kairo gained an ear for quality sounding music production that reaches and moves people.

Playing both vinyl and digital music, Kairo’s sound centres around jungle, with touches of UK garage, a little bit of techno and hardcore, with roots, reggae and dub being the foundation, bringing together old classics and newer underground sounds and more experimental styles in every set.

"I’ve always been open-minded with music, listening to and appreciating various genres. Discovering underground dance music in the early 90s was a significant milestone, as I fell in love with the house and rave scene.

My DJ career began during my Uni days as a resident DJ at the Sheffield Hallam student union. Following that, I provided music services for significant corporate events, held regular slots on underground radio stations, and performed at incredible dance events around the UK and for the Global Breaks Festival.

Even though I specialise in playing house, breaks, and rave music, I embrace the different feelings and emotions you get from a multitude of musical styles, which helps me to push the boundaries and craft standout sets.

For me DJing is more than just mixing tracks, it’s about connection through music and sharing my journey with others. I’ve attended the Freedom Music Festival at HOPE Sussex (my happy place) regularly. This year I’m so excited and blessed to be playing two unique sets this August bank holiday for the HOPE community. Very much looking forward to creating a journey of musical connection with beautiful souls."

DJ Miss Vixen is an international DJ, radio presenter, and vocalist who has been active in the music industry since 2000. Known for her dynamic performances and eclectic music selection, she has graced stages across Europe and beyond, including cities like Berlin, Paris, London, and Tbilisi. Her versatility and passion for music have made her a sought-after artist in the electronic music scene.

In addition to her DJing career, Miss Vixen has made her mark as a radio presenter, sharing her musical insights and engaging with audiences through various broadcasts. Her presence on platforms like SoundCloud showcases her mixes and tracks, reflecting her commitment to delivering quality music to her listeners.

From humble beginnings.

The house scene in Bristol was popping in the early 90s and DJ MT started playing pubs and clubs in the heart of the city. Playing at legendary clubs like Lakota, the Thekla, the depot, trinity rooms and the underground, he made a name for himself.

After also playing across the country from the Lake District to Cornwall his love and passion for house music and the dance music scene is undeniable. Moving on to music production and teaching DJ and music tech he now concentrates onthat full time. He is super excited to come and play the festival this year and play for you his latest track called “freedom”named after the first freedom festival at hope.

Yogiman is a conscious reggae and dub artist whose music carries powerful messages of unity, spiritual awakening, and healing. Known for his uplifting rhythms and soulful lyrics, Yogiman weaves themes of love, truth, and divine connection into his sound. His music is deeply rooted in natural law and ancient wisdom, making him a resonant voice in the conscious music movement.

He also explores esoteric themes such as the chakra system, chrism oil, and Christ consciousness in his public talks and interviews. In one notable appearance, he joined Mark Devlin for an in-depth conversation on the spiritual technologies within the human body and their connection to awakening and sovereignty.
